Vital Pak is a New York startup focused on supporting the electric vehicle transition by providing roadside assistance operators with an innovative tool to service such vehicles. Our portable charger can help roadside assistance operators service electric vehicles that run out of charge; it is analogous to a jerrycan. It is grid-free and integrates both the battery & charging cable in one unit. As such, it can be easily stowed and deployed. The unit can be charged at home and can be discharged into an electric vehicle by plugging the built-in charging cable. It has 5 kWh capacity, which corresponds to approx. 25 miles for a Tesla Model 3.
