Vital Pak is a New York cleantech company focused on supporting the electric vehicle transition by providing tow operators and roadside assistance with an innovative tool to service such vehicles. Our portable charger can help tow operators service electric vehicles that run out of charge; it is analogous to a jerrycan. It is grid-free, and integrates both the power bank and charging cable in one unit (patent pending). As such, it can be easily stowed and deployed. The unit can be charged at home and can be discharged into an electric vehicle by plugging the built-in charging cable. It has 5 kW capacity, which corresponds to approx. 25 miles for a Tesla Model 3.
